About This Course

Imagine your child reciting the entire Quran from memory — every verse preserved in their heart forever. Our certified Al-Azhar Huffadh guide each student at their own pace, building an unbreakable bond with Allah's words.

The Holy Quran is the most recited and memorised book in human history. Moddaker Academy's Hifz programme combines the time-honoured methodology of Al-Azhar Huffadh with modern learning techniques — supervised by certified memorisers who completed their Hifz through an unbroken chain back to the Prophet  ﷺ.

«يُقَالُ لِصَاحِبِ الْقُرْآنِ اقْرَأْ وَارْتَقِ وَرَتِّلْ كَمَا كُنْتَ تُرَتِّلُ فِي الدُّنْيَا»
"It will be said to the companion of the Quran: Recite and ascend, and recite slowly as you used to in this world."
Reported by Abu Dawud and al-Tirmidhi — Sahih
The Three-Part System

The methodology that produces Huffadh

Sabaq

New Memorisation

The student presents new ayaat memorised since the last lesson. The teacher checks every word before moving forward.

Sabqi

Recent Revision

The previous 7–10 lessons of memorisation are revised every session — cementing short-term into long-term memory.

Manzil

Old Revision

All memorised portions divided into 7 sections, one recited daily — ensuring the entire Hifz is revised every single week.

Our Approach

Hifz done with wisdom — not pressure

We have seen too many children pushed to memorise faster than they can retain — leading to anxiety, poor retention, and eventually giving up. Our philosophy is the opposite: 3 ayaat memorised and retained permanently are worth more than a page memorised and forgotten by next week.

Your child's teacher sets a daily memorisation target that is ambitious but achievable — adjusted monthly based on progress, without judgment, without pressure.

  • Pace set by the student, not an arbitrary schedule
  • Tajweed applied throughout — no re-learning later
  • Monthly written progress report for parents
  • Parents can observe any session at any time

Common Concerns

What families worry about — and the truth

My child is too old to memorise
Age is not a barrier

Adults memorise with deeper understanding. We have students in their 40s and 50s completing Hifz. The journey is longer — but no less beautiful.

Online Hifz can't be as effective
One-on-one is one-on-one

In a physical Darul Quran, one teacher may have 15–20 students. Online at Moddaker, your child has the teacher's complete undivided attention every session.

We're too busy for Hifz
Two sessions per week is enough

Our students progress with just 2 lessons per week. Daily home practice is 20–30 minutes — fitting around school, work, and family life.

My child will forget everything
The manzil system prevents forgetting

Our three-tier revision system means no portion ever goes more than 7 days without being recited — the same way scholars have preserved the Quran for 1,400 years.
